My name is Mackenzie Parrott. With over a year and a half of experience as a counselor, I am deeply committed to helping others who are struggling with addiction. My personal journey with recovery began on February 14th, 2020, when I made the decision to do whatever it takes to end the suffering of myself and everyone who cared about me. Having battled addiction myself, I am passionate about giving back to the recovery community and helping others who feel as hopeless as I did.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University and am currently working toward my Master's in Counseling. I have used my education and lived experience to further my ability to help others who are suffering. I believe in the transformative power of recovery, and I’m driven by the same support that helped me find peace and a love for life I had never known.
When I’m not working, I enjoy reading and spending time with my husband, our four kids, and our cats. Helping others find hope and healing is not just my profession; it’s my passion.
