My name is Jonathan Griffin, and I work in the admissions department at Lotus Recovery. I was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina. My sobriety date is May 14, 2021. I began my journey in admissions on January 3, 2022. I’ve found this work to be one of the most fulfilling things that a human being can experience.
To be a small part of someone’s journey out of destruction and into an entirely different way of thinking and living is a miracle and an honor. I’ve discovered that life of service is the best possible life. It’s a life that is not free of hardship or trial but one that is filled with a fulfillment purpose and peace of mind that I never believed was possible.
In my spare time, I enjoy riding my motorcycle and I love music. The experience that I have gained on this journey of recovery and in the field of admissions continues to equip me to better help the next person reaching out for help.
